Meet Danny Glasser
About Me
I am a committed community leader with extensive experience in business and educational advocacy. I am running for a seat on the Park City School Board to drive significant positive change within our community.
Education and Early Career
I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Human and Organizational Development and Political Science from Vanderbilt University, followed by an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.
Leadership and Impact
Recently, I led the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, as CEO/Executive Director. My leadership was pivotal in completing the McGrath Mountain Center, reducing staff attrition, and expanding the donor base. I have also held key leadership roles at companies such as VIDERI, Brigantine Holdings, and Deluxe Entertainment Services.
Commitment to Education and Health
My dedication to education and health extends beyond my professional engagements. I serve as Chairman of the Tom Sherak MS Hope Foundation and Vice Chairman of the Board at Exceptional Minds, where we equip young adults on the autism spectrum for careers in the creative industries. Additionally, I serve on the advisory board of Vanderbilt’s Frist Center for Autism and Innovation.
Family
My wife, Melissa, and I have four wonderful children.
Commitment to Serve
We are at an exciting moment in our district’s history as we bring new facilities online which provide us with great growth opportunities. This process won’t be simple, but I welcome the opportunity to address challenges as they arise for our educators, students, and parents—and to ensure that all of our taxpayers know that their dollars are being deployed thoughtfully, responsibly, and transparently.
